2.1. “Customer” shall mean any User who has applied or has availed the credit facility from any of the Lending Partners of 50Fin.

2.2. “Lending Partner” or “Lending Partners” shall mean the non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) with whom 50Fin has been empanelled as a Loan Service Provider (LSP), and to whom 50Fin refers prospective customers for the purpose of facilitating credit facilities.

2.3. “Personal Data” means the information that User provides to 50Fin which personally identifies the User, or other data that can be reasonably linked to such information by 50Fin, such as information associated with 50Fin’s User account as detailed in Clause 3.1, but not limited to.

2.4. “Third Party” or “Third Parties” shall mean regulated entities associated with the Lending Partners and/or 50Fin, including but not limited to RTAs (such as CAMS, KFintech, MFCentral, and NSDL), KYC/VKYC service providers, auditors, regulatory authorities, and any other service providers as may be authorised by the Lending Partners and/or 50Fin.

2.5. “User” shall mean any person who has signed in to the 50Fin web/phone application and is an active user of the 50Fin application.

3.1. Personal information is only collected when you willingly offer it to us. Personal Data is collected so that we can better understand your requirements and interests and provide you with better service when we reach out to you through digital or non-digital medium of contacts including but not limited to emails, phone-calls, social media websites and applications, mobile chat applications and direct messenger services and so on. We collect, use, store, and transfer Personal Data about you to provide you with, or in connection with, the Services. Such Personal Data includes:
a. Identity and profile-related data: This includes your first and last name, phone number, email address, date of birth, username or similar identifiers, gender, feedback, and survey responses required to process the loan.
b. KYC data: This includes identification documents issued by the government or other authorities, and includes details of or pertaining to your PAN card.
c. Transaction data: This includes details of transactions that may occur through the website, app or in connection with the Services. For example, transaction data may include the services you have sought or availed through the website or app or confirmations of such services.
d. Financial data: This includes securities and investment details, details of loans issued or otherwise applied for through the App, payments and repayments thereof, bank account details.
e. Device data: This includes your IP addresses, domain names of our visitor’s service provider browser types and versions, time zone settings, operating systems, and device information.
f. Usage data: This includes information about how you use the Services.

You agree and acknowledge that we may share data where we are required by law, any court, a government agency, or authority to disclose such information according to Rule 6(1) and Rule 6(2) of The Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and as Rule 18(1)(b) of The Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, 2022. Such disclosures are made in good faith and belief that it is reasonably necessary to do so for enforcing this Policy or the Terms, or in order to comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

5.4 Sharing of Aggregated Personal Data: In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve the users of our Services, we sometimes conduct research on our customer demographics, interests and behaviour based on the Personal Data and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analysed on an aggregate basis, and we may share this aggregate data with our affiliates, agents and business partners. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. We may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our Services to current and prospective business partners, and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.

7.1 We implement appropriate security measures to protect your Personal Data from unauthorised access, and follow standards prescribed by applicable, Rule 8 of The Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and as per The Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, 2022.

7.2 50Fin implements various reasonable management, technical and administrative measures to safeguard internal information. 50Fin complies with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and SOC 2 standards to secure underlying systems.

7.3 We take reasonable steps to protect the Personal Data provided via our Services from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or e-mail transmission is ever fully secure or error free. In particular, e-mail sent to or from our Services may not be secure. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any Personal Data to 50fin via the Internet.

The collected data will be stored on designated servers and shall only be uploaded onto approved cloud computing services located within India. All data entering into the database are protected with certificates that ensure encrypted communication when receiving and sending information.

9.1 Retention Periods:
a. You agree and acknowledge that your Personal Data will continue to be stored, except upon withdrawal shall be retained by us for as long as necessary to fulfil our stated purpose(s) and for a period of 7 years after termination of your account on the Website or App or access to the Services.
b. Data will be stored and used for providing the services. However, once the user is not under the service or is not an active customer. The user can choose to delete the data from profile > account > and click on the “delete your account permanently” option to remove the data from the database permanently. We will delete Information based on a request received from you within a reasonable period and latest within 7 days of receiving a deletion request.
c. 50Fin may retain data after account deletion for reasons including but limited to the following purposes: If there is an unresolved issue relating to your account, or an unresolved claim or dispute; If we are required to by applicable law; and/or in aggregated and/or anonymized form; or 50Fin may also retain certain information if necessary for its legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing Users' safety and security.
d. If a User initiates a loan application and does not complete the process within 120 days then all the information related to that loan application will be deleted from our platform.

9.2 Deletion Protocol:
a. Electronic Data: Secure wiping, cryptographic erasure, or degaussing to ensure irretrievability.
b. Physical Data: Shredding or incineration through approved vendors.

Our Services may, from time to time, contain services provided by or links to and from the websites of our partner networks, service providers, financial institutions and advertisers (“Third Party Services”). Please note that the Third Party Services that may be accessible through our Services are governed by their own privacy policies. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for the policies or for any Personal Data that may be collected through such Third Party Services. 50Fin follows strict data privacy and security standards in line with RBI’s Digital Lending Directions, 2025 and any other applicable law. In the unlikely event of a data breach, we are committed to promptly assessing the incident, taking immediate containment measures, and notifying the concerned Regulated Entity (RE) and stakeholders within the prescribed timelines. Responsibility for borrower data security ultimately rests with the RE, and 50Fin shall fully cooperate in investigation, reporting, and remedial actions to safeguard customer interests.

Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. 50Fin and its related websites are not structured to attract children. 50Fin does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone underage or knowingly allow such persons to register for any of 50Fin’s websites. If you are not of legal age, please do not access 50Fin’s website or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child underage without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child underage, please contact us at support@50fin.in.

14.1. We use cookies and other tracking technologies to distinguish you from other users of the Services and to remember your preferences. This helps us provide you with a good experience when you use our Services and also allows us to improve the Services.

14.2. We identify you by way of using cookies. The cookies shall not provide access to data in your device such as email addresses or any other data that can be traced to you personally. The data collected by way of cookies will allow us to administer the Services and provide you with a tailored and user-friendly service. If you choose to visit the Website or use any of the App Services, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy and the terms and conditions of use with respect to our App. In addition to the foregoing, any disputes arising under this Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any dispute arising from or in relation to this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Any dispute under this Policy between the website and the Users shall be referred to Arbitration to be conducted as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as applicable at the time including such amendments that may be made) by a Single Arbitrator, who would be jointly appointed by the parties.
